About me
Duane has been working in educational technology since 2004, first joining Westwind School Division for 16 years, then joining the Technology team Edmonton Catholic Schools in 2020. His current role is as Senior Application Support Analyst, covering PowerSchool, SchoolEngage for Registrations and Annual Verifications, and whatever else is requested. Some of his recent work has been a large migration to "Student Contacts" in PowerSchool at ECSD. In his previous roles, he work also included, PowerSchool District administration, FOIP responsibilities, PASI Integration, training and support for school admin supports, and administrators, as well as involvement with Teachers and PowerTeacher Pro, report cards, and all things PowerSchool. Duane is currently serving as Zone 3 Director with ATLE and is a regular presenter for both Convergence and other sessions, such as JTC, SIS Admin Conference, and the Administrative Assistants conference.
